Even in the Art of American Kenpo we enhance our techniques with expressions of nature. For example, we refer to leaves as fingers, branches would be legs, and arms would be twigs. Of course, as an artist I can only mimic the exquisite beauty and power of nature. How does any one person capture the true force of a tornado through photography or painting? I like to think it’s with their imagination.
