Kenpo Kards Gallery
American Kenpo, created by my father Grandmaster Edmund Kealoha Parker, is the first recorded American Martial Arts System. My father was a pioneer and I know it would bring him joy to see his work presented in such detail. Many of the pieces listed in the technique galleries are illustrations representing self-defense moves created and named by him.
This artwork was created for the purpose of giving a book cover illustration to the self-defense techniques used in American Kenpo. The intent was to do each painting for decks of training cards. These cards are know as Kenpo Kards. The artwork that is presented in the galleries to your right, is the art that I painted for Kenpo Kards - Tech Dek 1 & 2. Which is the name of our product.
These reproduction prints of the original artwork will make the perfect gift for the avid kenpoist or martial artist. Pick your favorite technique out for your instructor or your self or for your kenpo enthusiast in your life.
